About The Project
GriffinAI is an AI agent-builder platform. Its no-code Agent Builder lets users create and deploy autonomous trading and DeFi agents without writing code. GAIN launched on BNB Chain in September 2025, as Decrypt reported.

Why This Airdrop Matters
The airdrop rules
Season 1 eligibility required a rank between 5 and 10, at least 1,000 points and an active connected wallet with a positive balance. Rewards were fixed by rank, from 100 GAIN at Rank 5 to 3,320 GAIN at Rank 10. The claim window opened on BNB Chain through the Griffin AI Reward Centre on Wednesday, 24 September 2025.
The exploit
One report says malicious actors exceeded the supply cap by minting 5 million GAIN through a vulnerability in the contract, and a headline described GAIN crashing 80% after an abnormal mint and dump. The QuillAudits write-up analyses the exploit. The founder responded with a recovery fund and a 1:1 contract swap, and the relaunched token went live on major exchanges in October 2025.
Afterwards
The team announced buybacks, including a $2 million USDT buyback over 12 months. In December 2025 it introduced the Trend Mind Agent, a market-intelligence agent covering more than 2,000 tokens, and burned 10 million GAIN in its first buyback and burn.
The lesson is about contract security. An audit before launch could have caught a mint vulnerability, and the fact that it was exploited after launch means holders carried a loss that the later swap only partly addressed.
For people thinking about AI-agent platforms generally, the exploit is a reminder that the contract holding the token is only one piece of the system. An agent that can trade on your behalf needs permissions, and each permission is a place where things can go wrong. Prefer platforms that publish audits of both token and agent contracts, that let you cap what an agent can spend, and that give you a clear way to revoke access.
Start with an amount you could lose entirely.
Participation Guide
If you held the original GAIN, check whether you completed the 1:1 swap, using only the official Griffin AI page. Buyback and burn announcements are claims about future spending, so check the on-chain transactions. Before using any agent-builder to deploy trading agents with your funds, understand that an agent can lose money quickly, and keep the amounts small.
