About The Project
Hyperliquid Names is a naming service on the HyperEVM chain. Instead of sharing a 42-character wallet address, a user can register a short name ending in .hl that points to it, and names can be traded like other on-chain assets.
We could not find an official Hyperliquid Names website in our searches, so this page carries no link to one. An earlier version of the page also listed the wrong network.
Why This Airdrop Matters
What the aggregators say
One aggregator lists the airdrop as unconfirmed, saying only that owners of .hl names "may be eligible" for potential token rewards. A CoinCodex guide suggests holding .hl domains or ecosystem NFTs such as MechaCats can raise your reward share across HyperEVM programmes without constant on-chain activity, and an airdrop-strategy article makes a similar point. One page also describes an affiliate scheme paying 25% when someone buys a name through your link, which we could not verify.
Do not mix it up with HYPE
The HYPE airdrop belonged to Hyperliquid itself. Its genesis distribution is complete, and the foundation site associated with it is hyperfoundation.org. Hyperliquid Names is a separate service, so having received HYPE says nothing about a possible Names token.
Speculation, not a plan
With no announcement from the project, buying a name only in the hope of a token is a gamble on a rumour. Several of the guides we read warn readers to use only money they can afford to lose, and so do we.
Participation Guide
If you want a .hl name for its own use, check the price and the contract first and spend only what you accept losing. Verify the address of any Hyperliquid Names app from an official account before connecting a wallet, because security firms have flagged lookalike Hyperliquid claim pages that carry wallet drainers. Be especially careful with referral links, which are often used to redirect people to fake sites.

Detailed Tasks Requirements
- No airdrop is confirmed, so no qualifying task is official.
- Verify any Hyperliquid Names app address from an official account before connecting a wallet.
- Do not buy names or NFTs purely on the hope of a token.
