About The Project
Joule Finance is a liquidity hub on the Aptos blockchain. Profiles from the Aptos Foundation and others describe isolated lending markets, bridging through LayerZero, and a feature called Liquidity Anchors. An Aptos Foundation forum post reported that native USDT was added to its money markets with bonus Joule Points.
An earlier version of this page listed zkSync as the network. Joule is an Aptos project.
Why This Airdrop Matters
Points are earned by lending and borrowing. The Airdrops.io guide gives rates of one point per day per unit lent and four per day per unit borrowed, plus referral bonuses. That page says Joule had no token and that points holders might get an airdrop if one launches. The page is undated.
A MEXC price page updated on 6 August 2026 shows a JOULE price of about $0.00024 and a market capitalisation near $264,000, while marking the token as unlisted. It is an aggregator listing and we found no official announcement of a launch, a snapshot or a claim date.
The mismatch is the useful part. A priced but unlisted token usually means a pre-market, a small trading venue, or an error. It should make anyone cautious about assuming the airdrop is imminent or valuable.
The key detail is the pairing of high borrow incentives with unknown token value. Giving four times as many points for borrowing as for lending pushes users to take on debt, and debt in a volatile market is how liquidations happen. A user who borrows heavily to farm points can be liquidated in a sharp drop, losing real collateral for the sake of points that may convert to nothing.
The existence of an unlisted token price suggests that something about the token is being traded or tracked, but no source says what it represents, so it should not be used to value points.
Participation Guide
Borrowing to earn points four times faster is a way to lose money quickly if collateral prices fall and your position is liquidated. If you use Joule to earn points, use small amounts and read how liquidation works first. Check the protocol's audits and contract addresses on the Aptos explorer, and use only the website linked from the Aptos Foundation ecosystem page.
