About The Project
Marinade Finance is a liquid staking protocol on Solana. You deposit SOL and receive mSOL, a token that keeps earning staking rewards while you use it elsewhere in DeFi. MNDE is the governance token, capped at 1 billion according to DefiLlama.
Earlier versions of this page named the wrong network and implied a current airdrop. Marinade lives on Solana, and its distributions came in discrete seasons that have ended.
Why This Airdrop Matters
How MNDE got into people's wallets
Marinade's first "Earn" season handed MNDE to mSOL holders and native stakers, rewarding people who had already supported the protocol. An AirdropAlert listing marks that airdrop as closed. A DAO forum proposal later sought to unlock 25 million MNDE for Earn Season 3, but the results we found do not say whether it passed or when that season ran, so we do not claim an outcome.
The MEXC promotion is not an airdrop
You may see a September 2025 event pushed as an airdrop. MEXC listed MNDE and ran a reward campaign from 9 to 16 September covering 354,800 MNDE and 15,000 USDT. That was the exchange promoting its own listing, with its own rules, and Marinade was not distributing tokens to stakers.
Reading the price history
DefiLlama, updated in May 2026, shows an all-time low of $0.017 on 30 March 2026. People who sold airdropped MNDE early may have done better than those who held, which is a fair lesson about airdropped governance tokens in general.

We cannot point you to a claim, because we found none. If Marinade runs a new season it will be announced on its blog, its forum and its verified accounts, so check those directly. Before staking SOL with any liquid staking protocol, read the documentation on smart-contract risk and on how mSOL can trade below the value of the SOL behind it during market stress. One practical point for stakers: season rewards on Solana protocols are usually announced through the DAO forum before they go live, so reading the forum gives you notice that a social post cannot. If you are weighing whether to stake for a possible future season, remember that staking yields and token rewards are separate things, and the second is never guaranteed.
