Rewards were paid daily over 14 days and were proportional to the number of TON, NOT or DOGS tokens a participant held. To take part, users started a chat with the official Coub Telegram bot, linked wallet details and completed daily tasks in the mini-app. A referral component paid 10% of referred friends' rewards.

One listing marks the airdrop as ended. One blog claims that Telegram itself ran the airdrop through the bot, which conflicts with the other coverage that attributes it to Coub's developers, and we could not confirm it from a primary source.

The design is worth noticing. Basing rewards on holdings of other Telegram-ecosystem tokens is a way for a new project to borrow an existing audience, and it favours people who already hold those tokens. It also means the airdrop was partly a marketing exchange: holders received COUB in return for attention to the app.

The 10% referral layer is a pyramid-style feature in structure, though modest in size. It encourages participants to recruit, which can spread a project quickly and also pull in people who do not understand the risk.

One more consideration is the time frame. A 14-day, daily-payout campaign pushes people to check in constantly, and it ends before most participants can judge whether the platform is any good. If you liked Coub as a video site, that is a reason to use it; if you only wanted the token, the campaign's end means there is nothing left to do.
