About The Project
MEXC is a centralised exchange, so its "airdrops" are events tied to token listings. An earlier version of this page promised a fixed bonus of up to $320 USDT through a referral link, which we cannot support. What follows is based on MEXC's own descriptions and press coverage.
There are three event types, and each works differently.
Why This Airdrop Matters
Launchpool
Users earn airdrops of new or popular tokens by staking designated assets, and staked funds can be withdrawn at any time. KYC is generally required, rewards go to the spot account after the event ends, and some pools are limited to new users. Market makers, institutional accounts and restricted regions are excluded.
In 2026, the NEX Launchpool ran from 20 May to 20 June with a pool only for new users, and the EMBLEM Launchpool ran from 15 April to 15 May with 5 million EMBLEM in rewards. Meeting trading volume thresholds can raise your staking limit by up to 100%.
Airdrop+
These events pay for activity instead of staking. The Arcium (ARX) event ran 22 June to 6 July 2026: new users could share 48,000 USDT through deposit and trading activity plus a 10,000 USDT futures bonus, and all users could share 5,000 USDT from spot trading and 7,000 USDT from invitations. The Genius campaign ran 14 to 28 April 2026 with 45,000 USDT. MEXC reports Airdrop+ events reached over 11,700 participants with a combined prize pool above 1 million USDT.
Launchpad
In February 2026, MEXC introduced a loss protection mechanism, a refund guarantee if a newly listed token falls below its listing price. Over 21,000 participants subscribed more than 3.13 million USDT that month. We did not find details of how Launchpad allocations are decided.
The Loss Protection feature is worth reading carefully, because the phrase suggests more than it may deliver. A refund guarantee applies to the specific event it covers, subject to its own conditions on the amount, the time window and which purchases qualify. It reduces the downside of one type of purchase but does not make the token safe, and it does not apply to tokens you buy later on the open market.
As with every exchange promotion, the answer lies in the terms of the individual event page.
