About The Project
Solana is a blockchain, not a company that gives away tokens, and our searches found no official airdrop programme run by the Solana Foundation for 2026. The "Solana airdrop" people look for is really a family of separate programmes from projects built on Solana, each with its own rules.
An earlier version of this page implied a single airdrop with eligibility steps. That was wrong.
Why This Airdrop Matters
Where real ones come from
Guides including one from Backpack Learn say legitimate airdrops are announced on a project's official channels and that you should find claim links on its verified X or Discord accounts. No protocol will contact you privately about an airdrop. Real airdrops usually reward past on-chain activity, not a payment to sign up.
The precedent
The best known example is Jupiter's first airdrop in January 2024, which distributed over $700 million in JUP to more than a million wallets, with the largest recipients being active traders and not multi-wallet farmers.
Red flags
The guides agree on a short list. Never share a seed phrase or private key. Treat any request to deposit SOL to claim an airdrop as a scam. Do not sign transactions you do not understand, since malicious approvals drain wallets. Be sceptical of "check eligibility" sites that exist to harvest addresses, and of urgency.
One page that looked like a guide in our results was in fact promoting a "$RESOLV airdrop" with "zero risk" language, a classic pattern.
Habits that help
Use a separate hot wallet for claims and keep main funds in cold storage, stick to well-known wallets such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack, revoke unnecessary approvals after claiming, and use a block explorer such as Solscan to confirm what a transaction does.
Participation Guide
Treat this page as a safety guide. If a message tells you that you qualify for a Solana airdrop, ask which project is giving it, then find that project's own announcement. If you cannot find one, it is not real. Real claims never require a fee or your recovery phrase, and you can always wait a day to check, since a real airdrop does not vanish in an hour.
