About The Project
Axelar is a network that lets blockchains pass messages and assets to each other. Its AXL token already exists and trades, so it has no airdrop pending in any source we found.
An earlier version of this page presented an airdrop. We could not find one, so we have replaced it with what the project actually did in 2024 and 2025.
Why This Airdrop Matters
Axelar's blog says Interchain Amplifier launched on mainnet in January 2025, and describes it as a toolkit of smart contracts built by Interop Labs for connecting new chains. Under the model reported by Itiger for the Cobalt upgrade, new chain integrators fund a reward pool in AXL that pays the verifiers who secure each connection, which avoids new token inflation.
After the Cobalt upgrade, gas fees paid in AXL go to a burn address. The same source reports that the Sui and Flow connections were locking more than 300,000 AXL in reward pools each month, and that Monad, Solana, Stellar, TON and the XRP Ledger were expected to integrate through Amplifier. An Amplifier Advisory Committee reviews proposals to connect new chains and publishes a public report before governance votes.
These are the real mechanisms behind AXL's value: demand for AXL comes from integrators who must lock it to run connections, and from fees paid for messages. That is a more concrete token model than one built on promises, and it is also one that depends on how many chains actually connect and how much traffic they send.
Because there is no airdrop, any page offering a free AXL claim should be treated as suspicious. Airdrops are a standard lure around any token, and Axelar's name is well known enough to be copied.
