About The Project
deBridge is a cross-chain bridge and messaging protocol. Its DBR token launch is described in the project's own post, deBridge introduces DBR, and in Forklog coverage.
Earlier text on this page described points as still being earned. Season 1 is over.
Why This Airdrop Matters
The snapshot was taken on 23 July and covered 491,416 participants. All wallets qualified for Season 1 distribution, except wallets that owners had marked as compromised. The 6% genesis drop went to Season 1 points holders in proportion to their points. Vesting depended on balance: the top 10% by balance received 50% of their DBR at launch and the rest after six months, and everyone else received 100% at launch.
The community and launch pool was 20% of supply, with 1,000,000,000 DBR, 10% of total, unlocked at the token generation event and the rest vesting over three years. Jupiter DAO's LFG launchpad rewarded 1% of supply and Meteora's dynamic pool took 1%, with the Season 1 points distribution making up 6%.
The LFG sale had its own eligibility rule: active users who had interacted with deBridge on at least ten different days up to the snapshot, which produced 28,029 eligible addresses. The deBridge Foundation also launched a "DBR Inspector" so users could preview their allocations before launch.
Splitting vesting by balance is a notable choice. It slows the release for large holders, which reduces the chance of a big early sell-off, and it lets small holders take their full allocation at once. It also means the largest recipients waited six months for half their tokens.
Season 1 is long over, and anything calling itself a current Season 1 claim is suspect.
Taken together, the design shows a project trying to balance fairness and market stability: broad eligibility for every wallet, partial vesting for the largest holders and a separate sale route for loyal users. It is a more complex scheme than most, which is why many recipients misunderstood how much they would receive and when. Reading the allocation tool and the official post before relying on any third-party calculator avoids most of that confusion.
Participation Guide
If you held Season 1 points, check deBridge's official site for any remaining vesting tranches and for later seasons. Before using any bridge, read its audits and how it secures cross-chain messages, since bridges are among the most attacked parts of crypto. Never share a seed phrase to check an allocation, and use only the official DBR Inspector link from the project's site.
