About The Project

KiloEx is a decentralised perpetual futures exchange. Its airdrop used points earned by trading and referring others in two seasons, Genesis and Pioneer, according to Airdrops.io and AirdropAlert.

Earlier text on this page was generic.

Why This Airdrop Matters

One airdrop page says the allocation was raised from an initially planned 7% to 8.5% of total token supply, with 5% going to Genesis Season participants and 3.5% to Pioneer Season participants. A separate 1.5% pool was set aside for users who interacted with the platform before a 16 March 2025 cutoff, with larger shares for earlier users. That allocation breakdown comes from a single tracker, and we could not confirm it against KiloEx's documentation.

The same page says the claim window closed on 15 September 2025 at 23:59 UTC and that unclaimed tokens were sent to a burn address. KuCoin lists a 1 billion total supply with 100 million KILO (10%) for the airdrop, and notes that KILO holders can convert to xKILO at 1:1. A BNB Chain campaign shared 30,000 KILO in a raffle for completing tasks, from 17 to 31 March 2025.

AirdropAlert describes a Genesis airdrop in which users earned points by trading and referring others, with OAT badges for referrers, and marks it closed.

Burning unclaimed tokens, rather than keeping them in a treasury, is a more final outcome for people who missed the window: nobody can later claim or even ask for them, and it slightly increases the value of the remaining supply.

The percentages differ between the tracker (8.5%) and KuCoin (10%), so the safest summary is that the airdrop was between about 8.5% and 10% of supply.

Be careful with the word "burn" in this context. It sounds like a benefit for holders, since it removes tokens from supply, but it only matters in proportion to the amount burned and the number of tokens that remain. A small burn changes little, and the main effect of burning unclaimed tokens is that nobody can claim them later. It is better to claim on time than to count on a reduced supply to lift the price.

Participation Guide

The claim window has ended. If you claimed, review the xKILO conversion and any vesting in KiloEx's documentation. Perpetual futures use leverage, which can lose a stake quickly, so size positions carefully. Verify any claim link against the official site, and ignore offers to restore burned allocations.
