About The Project

Lisk started life as its own blockchain and later moved to Ethereum Layer 2 networks. According to Lisk's support FAQ, LSK now lives on Base and Ethereum, with Base as the primary network. The token contract has not changed, so no swap is needed, but the old chain is closing.

Earlier versions of this page listed the wrong network and treated the airdrop as open. It is not.

Why This Airdrop Matters

The points airdrop is over

When Lisk's Layer 2 mainnet launched, The Block reported a points-based airdrop. Season 1 started in November 2024 with 10 million LSK for the season and 15 million overall. A Bitrue guide says it stayed open until 1 March 2025, so nothing remains to claim.

The date that matters now

The official Lisk support FAQ says LSK also remains on the Lisk Chain until it shuts down on 31 October 2026. Any LSK still on that chain at shutdown becomes unrecoverable, so holders need to move their tokens to Ethereum first. Penalty-free unstaking depends on a DAO proposal, and Lisk says it will confirm on its official channels when that goes live.

One third-party source says the migration window was set to close on 21 May 2026. That is not from Lisk's own site, and the FAQ is the better guide. We could not open the FAQ to confirm its publication date, so check it directly.

If you hold LSK on the old Lisk Chain, follow the migration steps on lisk.com before 31 October 2026. A closing deadline is exactly when scammers target holders with fake migration pages, so avoid links sent to you privately. Begin with a small transfer to confirm the process works, and keep your transaction hashes in case you need to show support what happened.

It is worth remembering why migrations like this catch people out. Holders who bought LSK years ago and left it in a wallet may not follow project news at all, and a chain shutdown does not send a notification. If you know someone who held Lisk long ago, check whether their tokens are still on the old chain before the date passes.
