Phase 1 covered users of the Liberty Alphanet and Sphinx Betanet from February 2022 to June 2024, with a snapshot on 22 June 2024 and about 3.3 million SHM. Phase 2 covered the Atomium Incentive Testnet from June 2024 to March 2025, with a snapshot on 1 March 2025 and about 2.1 million SHM.

Registration ran in two windows. The first, from 14 to 21 March 2025, paid at the token generation event. The second, from 22 March to 13 April 2025, was to be paid on a delayed basis in June 2025, with one source citing 13 June. Shardeum warned participants to register only through the official portal.

Sources differ on the mainnet date. Most point to 15 April 2025, with the TGE on 13 April, while one outlet said 5 May with auto-scaling expected by the second quarter. I could not confirm the actual launch day from these results, so the April date is only the best supported.

Rewarding testers over a period of more than three years is a long commitment, and some testers will have felt that 63,000 wallets sharing 5.5 million tokens is a small slice. Keep expectations modest for any testnet reward.

Because testnet campaigns last years, they are a good example of reward risk: the participant pays in time and attention long before knowing what the token will be worth. If you ever join a similar programme, set a simple limit in advance for how much effort you are willing to spend, and write down the rules and snapshot dates at the time so you can check what was promised.

As with any pre-mainnet reward, the final value depended on market conditions at the token generation event, and recipients should compare delivered amounts with what the portal showed during registration before drawing conclusions.
