The first chapter of Share and Build let users earn Sparklet tokens through social media activity and in-app missions over a three-week period. Points were converted to Sparklet inside the game, in 10 reward levels with multipliers set by engagement and social media stats.

A token tradability event followed, letting players convert in-game Sparklet into a tradable Ethereum token. In July 2024 Bitget planned a Launchpool for SPARKLET, with participants qualifying for airdrops inside Upland, and users could stake SPARKLET for UPX rewards, build structures or make no-code NFTs. MEXC ran a Kickstarter, a sale-style event with a voting period from 23 July at 11:00 to 24 July at 10:50 UTC.

Sources list total supply at one billion SPARKLET, and one says it is an ERC-20 token that can be bridged to and from EOS.

Rewards for social media posts favour people with bigger audiences and can encourage low-quality promotion, which is one reason these programmes face criticism.

The mixed events make it hard to say what the "Upland airdrop" was, since several programmes ran under different rules.

Social-task rewards deserve particular caution. Posting about a project to earn points can breach platform rules on spam, and accounts that do so may be restricted. Programmes that reward posting also tend to produce repetitive content, so check the terms and think about your own reputation before taking part in a similar drive.
